Organic Kamairi Zairai - Kamairicha Green Tea

This tea comes from wild seedlings that have been growing in Gokase for nearly 90 years. It’s a tea-producing area 600–700 meters above sea level, where pan-roasted teas have been a tradition since the Edo period (1603–1868). The leaves are roasted in an iron pan to stop oxidation, giving it a dry, toasty vibe. You’ll catch hints of freshly baked bread in the aroma, a caramelised flavour, and a spicy kick of pepper in the aftertaste.
